For the penultimate post in our tribute to Bernard Cribbins we move from Kids TV to sitcom, this guy was in so much that everyone will have a memory of seeing Bernard Cribbins on TV.
The Hotel Inspectors was the fourth episode of series one of everybody’s favourite sitcom and featured Bernard Cribbins as an unfortunate guest who Basil perceives to be a Hotel Inspector.
Summary
When Basil hears of hotel inspectors roaming Torquay incognito, he realises to his horror that the guests he has been abusing could easily be among them.
He becomes increasingly obsessed with trying to determine which guests are hotel inspectors, but his suspects turn out not to be, to his frustration, which he finally takes out on two innocent guests in true Basil style.
