Summary

Jim London is a working class cockney lad who finds himsef in need of a job when they pull his inherited home, in the Elephant and Castle, down.

He is lucky enough to land a job as a chauffeur for businessman Robert Palmer who has had his driving licence withdrawn. Palmer’s butler doesn’t approve of Jim but gradually accepts him.
