The Harry Secombe Show

The Harry Secombe Show, 1968

Harry Secombe is perhaps best remembered as a member of The Goons and for his singing and perhaps doesn’t always get the credit he deserves for being a comedian.  Indeed Secombe stood in for Tony Hancock during four episodes of the 1955 series of Hancock’s Half Hour.

In 1968 like many comics that would follow he would star in his own sketch show that ran for 29 episodes over 5 series from 1968, ending in 1973.

Summary

Harry Secombe hosts and stars in this mix of comedy sketches and music.
