An off beat way of presenting comedy but it worked. Drunk History (UK) is the TV comedy based on the American series of the same name.
It began airing on digital channel ‘Comedy Central’ in 2015 and ran for three series, two specials and clocked up twenty eight episodes in it’s three year run.
Drunk History is among the titles available on the new Britbox streaming service.
Summary
Narrated by Jimmy Carr, each episode sees a celebrity (usually a comedian) struggle to recount an event from British history while intoxicated. Their account is then reconstructed by actors.
