Just Jimmy, 1964
Jimmy Clitheroe will be perhaps best remembered for his long running BBC Radio series The Clitheroe Kid, which resulted in a short lived TV spin off That’s My Boy in 1963.
In 1964 Clitheroe brought his Clitheroe Kid character back to TV screens for a follow up “Just Jimmy”. The show ran for 51 episodes over 5 series between 1964 and 1968.
Summary
Just Jimmy sees the Northern lad living with his Mother and cousin Danny.
Schoolboy Jimmy Clitheroe likes all the normal things boys like as they approach their teenage years – and has a particular speciality of getting into trouble and causing confusion whenever remotely possible!
