Only Fools And Horses – The Final Episode?

Only Fools And Horses, Three Men, A Woman and a Baby, 1991

This year marks quite a significant one for everyone’s favourite sitcom.  Whilst it is 40 years ago later this year since the very first Only Fools And Horses, it’s also 10 years since we lost writer John Sullivan and 30 years since the final regular series.  As it would happen the show would continue as a regular Christmas fixture for a few more years.

So today we look back at that sixth and final episode “Three Men, A Woman and a Baby”

Summary

It’s all going on in Peckham.  Del is trying to flog wigs for men to a bunch of ‘old tarts’ at The Nags Head.  Meanwhile things between Rodney and Cassandra hit a rocky patch as she gives him the push for lacking ambition and not being part of the marriage.

Rodney has also turned vegetarian, much to the mockery of the rest of the Trotter clan. When he receives a call from Cassandra asking him to visit her, he plays it cool. She is unimpressed at the attachable ponytail he wears to impress her when he arrives. In no time they are back together, and very much in love.

Their re-union is soon interrupted by a phone call; Raquel has gone into labour.  She gives birth to a boy in the early hours of the morning, which Del and Raquel name Damien.
