Sitting Pretty

Sitting Pretty, 1992

Sitting pretty is a BBC sitcom that aired for thirteen episodes over two series.

There was high hopes for the series with the writing talents of John Sullivan and his first sitcom since Just Good Friends to feature a female lead.  Sullivan had originally intended for a male lead, but changed to a female, we couldn’t find any particular reason.

Despite prime time BBC1 and a successful writer Sitting Pretty failed to catch on and was cancelled after just two series.  It has become probably best remembered for being  the writer’s first notable failure.
