Superfrank! – 1986
After being absent from our TV screens for five years in 1986 Frankie returns to our TV screens with a one off live show.
A joint venture between Channel 4 and HTV the show was recorded before a live audience at the Playhouse Theatre in Weston Super-Mare.
Summary
Frankie Howerd entertains a live studio audience as only he knew how, proving why he was one of comedy’s all time greats.
At one stage he is joined by some donkeys who do their best to upstage him. Howerd ends the show with some songs accompanied on the piano by Sunny Rogers.
