Having found fame on a Kick Up The Eighties, Three of A Kind and Girls On Top alongside a brief singing career Tracy Ullman went off to the USA in 1987 in which she starred in her own show Tracy Ullman’s show.
Thirty years later Tracey was back in Blighty with her own sketch show Tracey Ullman’s Show. Written and devised by the star it would go on to run for 3 series over 19 episodes.
Summary
Tracey Ullman stars in her own sketch show.
Each episode gives us a glimpse of British life from dusk to dawn for many of its inhabitants (the everyday and the very famous). From locals to tourists, even those smuggling themselves into the country, are included.
Each episode features an original song.
For series three the show shifts away from its “a day in the life” premise to a more topical format, with impersonations of world leaders becoming the show’s main focus.
