Auf Wiedersehen Pet – Series One, 1983
The now legendary Comedy Drama series made by Central TV for ITV ran for 13 episodes between 1983 and 1984, about a group of British Migrant construction workers and their antics whilst working on a building site in Germany.
Summary
When seven out of work English construction workers are forced to look abroad for work they end up in West Germany.
Promised hotel accommodation fails to materialise and they find themselves living together in a hut on site.
The series deals with the relationship between the men and follows them on a series of hilarious mis-adventures, mis-understandings and romantic disasters.
After 13 must see episodes the series drew to a close as a change in the German tax laws forces the lads back home.
